Journeys in numbers

What your estimate could look like

Two illustrative moves: who is travelling, what comes along and how the budget adds up. These are examples, not customer stories or current offers.

Illustrative example / 01Model dated

Mineralnye Vody → Tbilisi

Russia → Georgia · via Verkhny Lars

Illustrative budget€1,700For the whole party, listed services and reserve
Travellers
2 adults
Pets
2 dogs · 20 and 25 kg

The transport price does not depend on the number of pets, provided they all fit comfortably and safely in the vehicle.

Belongings
4 suitcases · 80 kg · about 0.5 m³
Model departure
Preparation
7–14 days with the core pet documents already in place
On the road
1–2 days allowing for rest stops and the border

No new titre test: valid results already exist

Costs, documents and conditions

Budget breakdown

Private minivan; two suitable carriers are already owned and secured for travel.

Minivan with driver, including fuel
€1,250
Road charges and parking
€40
Pet preparation · 2 × €80
€160
Journey coordination
€150
Budget reserve for delays
€100
Illustrative budget
€1,700

All amounts are illustrative, in euros. Fuel is already included in the vehicle price, not added twice. Vet and lodging amounts are allowances, not clinic or hotel rates.

Loading and unloading

Luggage is packed, with ground-level loading. No moving crew is included; driver assistance must be agreed in advance.

Pet preparation

  • In this example the dogs travel with their owners. Microchips, pet records and qualifying positive titre results are already in place; waiting periods have been met.
  • Rabies vaccination must remain valid. The allowance covers on-time boosters, examination, parasite treatment and departure paperwork.
  • Georgia allows an existing qualifying titre result to remain valid with uninterrupted vaccination. This is not a blanket exemption for travel from Russia. The documents and applicability to each pet need checking before departure.

Pricing assumptions

The vehicle allowance includes an assumed €200 for fuel: 160 l × €1.25, including positioning and return. This is a modelling assumption, not a pump price.

Scenario: +10…+25 °C, the Lars road is open, with no snow or prolonged queue. Not a forecast; a road closure changes the plan and budget.

Not included: people’s visas and paperwork, customs charges on belongings, meals, new carriers or unlisted services. The reserve is a budget allowance, not a mandatory fee.

Costs, documents and conditions

Budget breakdown

Private passenger-and-cargo van; two suitable cat carriers are already owned.

Van with driver, including fuel
€1,800
Tolls and parking
€100
One pet-friendly overnight stay
€120
Vaccination · 2 × €40
€80
Rabies titre tests · 2 × €125

Examination and veterinary certificates
€100
Moving crews at both addresses · 2 × €100
€200
Journey coordination
€200
Budget reserve for delays
€100
Illustrative budget
€2,950

All amounts are illustrative, in euros. Fuel is already included in the vehicle price, not added twice. Vet and lodging amounts are allowances, not clinic or hotel rates.

Loading and unloading

For these 16 luggage items, this estimate requires 2 movers for 2 hours at each address. Ground floor or a working freight lift, up to 20 m from the van, boxes up to 20 kg, no furniture. Stairs, longer carries, packing and extra time are costed separately.

Pet preparation

  • The cats live in Türkiye and travel with their owners through Bulgaria. They need microchips before vaccination, valid rabies vaccination, qualifying titre results, an EU-entry animal health certificate and a non-commercial movement declaration. Microchips are already in place in this example.
  • After a primary vaccination, blood sampling is at least 30 days later. Current EU rules require at least 90 days between sampling and certificate issuance, a designated laboratory and a result of at least 0.5 IU/ml. The EU-entry certificate is issued within 10 days before the entry checks.
  • For Serbia, the certificate and requirements based on the animals’ origin need a separate check. Transit through Bulgaria does not replace it. Preparation assumes successful tests; lab delays or repeat vaccination can postpone departure.

Pricing assumptions

The vehicle allowance includes an assumed €360 for fuel: 240 l × €1.50, including positioning and return. This is an assumption, not a current rate.

Scenario: 0…+10 °C, open roads, no snowfall or ice. Not a January forecast. Snow, a detour or an extra night require a revised estimate before the quote is agreed.

Not included: people’s visas and paperwork, customs charges on belongings, meals, new carriers or unlisted services. The reserve is a budget allowance, not a mandatory fee.

Why the price can change

Each example has its own dates, passengers, pets and luggage. We used assumed weather conditions and fuel prices, so these amounts do not lock in a price for your move today or in the future. Before you travel, we will check the rates, road conditions and documents again. If you have already agreed a quote, we will discuss any changes with you separately.

What to know before your estimate

When will I see a price?

After discussing your route on Telegram. We check the dates, who and what is travelling, and current costs before preparing a preliminary estimate. The examples on this site show a cost breakdown, not a quote for your trip.

What can I include in the relocation?

The move itself, pet transport and belongings transport. The mix of services depends on your route and needs.

What does the preliminary estimate consider?

The route, dates and selected transport for people, pets and the approximate volume of belongings. The individual quote follows after the details are checked.

What happens during the consultation?

Tell us what you need to move and which questions are still open. We can discuss the route, documents and quote details. Consultation terms are agreed before it starts.

Can I send just my belongings?

Yes, your belongings can travel without you or your pets. Send us the route, a list or photos of the items, and their approximate dimensions. We’ll check packing, loading and unloading needs, find suitable transport and prepare a separate estimate.

Can my pets travel while I make my own way there?

Yes, we can look into arranging this. First, we’ll confirm the route, dates and who will hand over and collect your pets. We’ll check whether they can travel without their owner on that route and which documents they need. Then we’ll agree who accompanies them, their space in the vehicle and their care along the way.
