Discuss animal and carrier dimensions, passengers and luggage. Identify the arrangements that need the transport provider’s confirmation before booking.
Stops and overnight stays
Plan around the pets’ usual routine. For an overnight stay, check acceptance of your actual number of animals, size limits and extra charges.
Companions and handovers
Establish whether you will travel together. For separate transport, discuss the companion’s authority, handover location and communication during the journey.

A preliminary description is enough. Missing details can be clarified in the conversation.
Open preparation templates- Departure and destination cities, dates and possible transit countries.
- Species, breed, age, weight and dimensions of each animal.
- Carrier dimensions and the amount of accompanying luggage.
- Who accompanies the animals, and how they cope with cars and each other.
- Which veterinary documents are ready and any restrictions discussed with a vet.
From the first message to an agreement
Understand the needs
Clarify the route and each animal’s needs. Start with a short description; copies of passports and other documents are not needed for the first message.
Check a road option
Discuss the vehicle, space, companion and rest schedule. Transport availability is confirmed for the specific animals and date.
Agree before departure
Confirm meeting points, contacts, documents, price and what happens in a delay. Health questions and fitness to travel need to be resolved with a vet.
How we discuss cost
The route, private or shared journey, number of animals, carrier space, accompaniment and overnight stays affect the estimate. A low price for one leg does not show the whole cost: check travel to the meeting point, accommodation and the final transfer to your address.

- Road travel also requires document preparation. Species, countries, accompaniment and the purpose of movement affect the applicable rules.
- A photograph or description cannot confirm an animal’s health or fitness to travel. A vet must assess this.
